Battle Angel is taking part in the weekly sales event called “It’s On Sale” and she is doing so with this great hair offering called Alessia.  If you are not familiar with “It’s On Sale” it’s a sales event where designers put their items out at a discount and leave them up for a week.  Battle Angel has put her hair out at a deep discount, all the individual hair packs of 4 colours, in all sorts of colour choices from natural to wilds are 69L each and the fatpack of all 8 packs is 400L. The hair also comes with resize scripts which are removable or you can stretch them the old fashion way even though they say no modify (My guess it’s probably the script that makes them say that).  That’s nice, I always like the choice, as I’m pretty good at modifying things myself, without a script, so that way generally takes me less time.

I think the most of the pretty bits of this hair are seen from the side and the back, so I’m including this side photo. The long front bang, is flexi, and so is the big curly fall from the back. My favourite part is the wonderfully woven bun. If I could have that with with a short bang in the front, it would be the perfect updo to me. I’m not sure the weaving comes across in photos well, so get a demo of this hair do and check it out for yourself. It will only cost you a tp, because the demos are free. Woot. I hate demos you pay for. Of course the tp will probably end up costing you 69L because you’ll probably buy the hair, but you can tell yourself you won’t. Denial is a useful tool in the compulsive shoppers handbook. I use it all the time!

Skin – This skin is from Al Vulo, one of my favourite skin designers. She is a guest this month at The Dressing Room -Blue.  This skin is called Sakira, it comes in the Sunkissed skin tone and the make up is called Easy Virtue.  It’s selling for the amazingly low price of 70L.

Dress – This dress is also being sold at The Dressing Room – Blue , and it made by the always talented regular contributor Baiastice.  I love this dress, it’s got one of the nicest skirts I have seen for a miniskirt. My ao doesn’t seem to make it look bad in any sort of pose. I hope everyone starts making skirts like this. Oh..and the design is kick ass too..check it out. You can own it for only 70L.

This lovely hair is Magika’s latest release “Nonsense”. It’s a beautiful ponytail with a swept back bang. If you haven’t been to Magika lately you are in for a great surprise. She has brought in a hud system for colouring her hair and at the same time, she has changed her hair packs so that there is only 2. The natural hairs and the wilder hairs. This means that you get hud 1 like I did, the natural hairs, you get all 25 natural hair colours for only 250L, a fantastic deal. I started of going to photograph this hair as a dark brunette, then turned into a redhead. I love having the flexibly that this sort of packaging brings. Fatpacks without fatpack pricing. Magika’s has my thanks!

I took these photos to better show you the hair. The photo on the left is showing the pony tail, which is a wonderfully thick, beautiful pony tail, which is far enough out to keep from always swinging into your torso.

The photo on the right is showing 2 options that Magika gives you. The first is the mirror image hair, you notice this hair is exactly the opposite of the hair I’m wearing in the big photo. This comes in handy when the hair is parted on exactly the wrong side for let’s say the one shouldered top you want to wear.  The second is the chew option, just click the button on the hud and your chewing a piece of hair. It’s a cute option that let’s you get in touch with your vulnerable side. You might have to adjust it so it works with your mouth size but just click on edit individual prims and click on the prim beside your mouth and it’s a snap.

All and all this is a very lovely flattering style that will look great on everyone!

As you can see, Diorissima is gorgeous, a sky high piled froth of curls with matching hair base to give you the nice the clean sophisticated hair line that a lot of avant-garde high fashion hair designs miss.  A lot of the high fashion hairs lose me because of bald patches where there should be hair, that really bugs me, but this hair do avoids that mistake with aplomb.  Now that I have it, my mind is racing with dozens of outfits it would look great with. I can really see this being one of my favourite new hairs.

It wasn’t love at first sight, but it was love at first wear.

Adam n Eve have put all their hair on sale til further notice.  That means I can’t tell you when the sale will  end, but I can tell you that you will be picking up their hair at great savings. 125L for a hair pack or 500L for the full fatpack.

One of the things I love about Adam n Eve, other then their wide variety of products, is that they know that hair looks different in different colours.  Their demos are 0 lindens and you get every colour in the demo pack. It makes it real easy that way to find the exact right colour that you want to buy. That’s a lot of effort on the designers part, but I like it.

I am happy to pay someone for their creative work in SL, but it’s also nice to get something for free sometimes. :)

This is a new hair from Exile, simply called Group Gift. It’s free if you’re a member of Exile’s subscribo group. If you’re not a member yet, you can still join and grab the gift!

The group gift is MESH, so you will need a current viewer to see it. The texturing on this is wonderful. From what I’ve been able to see so far, a lot of texture placement has to be done outside of SL while you’re building the mesh. It’s great to see such detail put into this hair.

Exile’s Group Gift hair comes in two colors. Shown is the brown with purple highlights. There’s also a blonde with blue highlights. The highlights are mild enough not to be overbearing. It includes an alpha layer to hide any bald spots that may show up on your head.

If you’re still curious about mesh, this is a great hair to try out. :)
