Even in our retirement, Laynie and I heard the news of the injustice that was done to Gala Phoenix. One of the earliest skins I ever owned was Pale Sultry Lusterbeam that I first wore for the blog on March 26, 2007. We have always been admirers of Gala Phoenix’s talent and work. We have no doubt that her voice will be heard and the true will overcome the lies.

We wish to encourage everyone to attend the One Voice Fundraiser to help with the legal costs of fighting this injustice. This event will run until July 16th and takes place at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mesh/92/84/22.

Summer is over.  The kids are back in school.  It is time to get back into the swing of things.

Before I post tonight blog, I wanted to make an announcement:

Wanted: Active avatars (who love hair) to blog at least once a week.  You can blog more than that if you are inspired.

Requirements: You must love hair and follow the guidelines for the review policy for the stores being blogged.

You must be able to:

• Blog from a drama-free perspective. You can gush all over the stores you love but please leave the he-said/she-said at the door.
• Take a clear shot that shows the hair’s style, movement, and texture in their natural forms. (Some limited use of Photoshop is allowed.)
• Write in English clearly.  If English is your second language and you are nervous about this requirement, do not panic.  We will be willing to help proofread.  We would love bi-lingual blog entries.

Pay: Personal satisfaction of sharing what you love with others.  (Same as Laynie and I)

There is a new page on our blog called Hair Shop Links. This took a while to compile. It is a list of either store blog or marketplace links. We found that maintaining a list of SLURLs was too difficult due to the ever changing nature of SL with stores moving, rebranding, etc. This will be an easier method to get the hair lover to the designer.

If you see any store that you know the blog or marketplace link for and it is not listed here, reply and it will be added to the Hair Shop Links page. I was having trouble locating some places. Thank you and enjoy.
