Diversity – Brat
April 24, 2008 6:55 pmToday’s style is from Diversity. I have a friend who loves and lives in this hair so I wasn’t sure how it looks on me because I am so used to seeing it on her. TI love the style and I am glad that Aleri brought it back from her hair graveyard.
The Brat style is a fun pair of messy buns that sit low behind the ears. There are wild wisp of hair that curl out of the buns. The hair in front is parted down the part on the bangs slightly off center. The bangs themselves swoop out towards the ear slightly covering the corner of the left eye. This style has the amazing ability to take ages off your avatar so if you are looking for a younger, fresh look this hair is from you.
The Brat style costs $1L for a fat pack. October 26, 2007 5:02 amFor everyone wondering where Diversity Hair‘s Cobain style disappeared to, you can rest easy. It’s now up again, retextured and gorgeous. It made me sad I didn’t have a flannel shirt for my guy shape to put on! (Teagan says he still looks like me. I’m not so sure…)
The front is pure Kurt Cobain, choppy and loose with a bit of flexi to soften it up.
The back is simple and well done.
The really cool thing is that Diversity is having a sale on the natural colors – L$150 until October 31, so do visit and pick up a pack or three while you’re there! Good guy hair is hard to find! There’s a discount corner (singles L$50, naturals $75, and fatpacks for L$300). There’s also a dollarbie style for guys and one for girls, and as if that’s not enough, Diversity also offers one free style for avatars less than 30 days old!
(I apologize, I seem to be exclamation-mark happy. But hair sales do that to me!)

The Jessica II style is a long, wavy style that falls down to mid-back in layers. The face is framed with similar layers with the ears being completely covered. The style is topped with a soft, sculptie hat with a wide, floppy brim in cream with a brown band. This style works well with any summer dress and the big bonus, its a dollarbie for a willow pack.

Sinsation – Maryanne
March 28, 2007 5:11 amSinsation is celebrating the opening of their joint venture island, Hairspray with Mirada. There is a freebie hut that sells dollarbies. There are don’t miss deals to be had including this cute 50s style to match the island’s theme from Sinsation.
The Maryanne style is a short, straight style that falls just past the neckline and curl out, up and back in to form a perfect curl completely around the head from ear to ear. There is a straight cut bang that crossed the brow with a slight curl under. The rest of the hair is held back from the face with a leopard print ribbon. The entire style, including the bow on the ribbon, is well sculpted and suits the new island’s 50s them rather well. Pair this style with Vanessa from LaynieWear and you will look like you stepped out of the pages of Cosmopolitan 1955.
