The Paulette style is  a medium, curly style that falls to the tops of the shoulder blades.   The curls are tight ringlets that begin halfway down the back of the head.   The hair at the sides have been folded under so the strands are off the face.   The bangs are curled under with high volume to give them lift.

The Pauline style is a short, curly style that is straight until halfway down the head where ringlet curls begin to fall just past the neckline. The hair in front is smoothed back into rolls framing at the sides.  There are curled under Bettie bangs that edge the face just above the brows.

The Kitten with a Whip style is a style that reminds me of the 1960s super heroine. The back of the style falls just past the shoulder blades in three curled rolls. The hair in front is parted on the left and smoothed along the hairline. This style is great for those of us with a lot of lag because it looks fantastic and is low prim.

The Marilyn style is based on the classic style worn by Hollywood starlet Marilyn Monroe. This short style is straight from the crown halfway down the back where small, tight curls line the back in rows. The front left of the style is pulled back from the face in wave while the right side slightly curls onto the face before curling back into the styles form.

The Jitterbug Doll style is a medium, curly style that is straight until halfway down the head where ringlet curls begin to fall down to the tops of the shoulders. The hair in front is smoothed back into rolls framing the hairline with clean lines. When I look at many of the styles at Ingenue is am reminded of all the beautiful styles my grandmother had on her walls and Jitterbug Doll is definitely reminiscent of the glamorous styles of the 1940s.

The Bombshell style is a rolled updo that sits just above the neckline and is rolled up and into itself for a smooth and clean look. The front of the style is pulled high and back smoothly except for a a few errant curls on right side that are coiled tightly to the top of the style. The entire style works well with period clothing from the 1940s – 1960s.
