TheAbyss – Secret

The Secret style is a short, razor-cut bob that ended cleanly at the neckline in the back. The hair in the front is parted on the left with the hair framing the face in a long angle. The hair in the right side of the face falls crosses the right eye, covers the ear and curves to the collarbone. The hair on the left side of the face crosses the left temple and ends just below the cheekbone. This style is versatile and can be used for formal or casual wear.
The Secret style costs $1625L for a 13-color fat pack, $250L per color, and the demos are $1L. The colors include: blood, blue, dark ash, fire, full moon, light blonde, medium ash, medium blonde, pink, poison, rust, smoke, steel.

RaC – Fling II
February 28, 2008 10:23 amI can’t help it. Every time I wear RaC hair (which is pretty often), I wait for someone to ask where it’s from, so I can reply, “Raspberry and Cow!” Why does that make me giggle so much? I have no idea, but it certainly does.

So, back to the hair… today’s style is Fling II from RaC. It’s smooth, sleek, shiny, and elegant. (Sorry, I couldn’t think of an “s” descripter for elegant!) From the front, the long side-swept bangs curl slightly past the chin, and the rest of the hair is simply stylish. (Ooooh, more Ss!) The ends have a subtle flip outward.
The back is pure grace. This hair is all about the textures, make no mistake. It is amazing!
The Fling II style is $400 per color. Your color choices are black, dark brown, mahogny, ash brown, golden brown, light brown, sunkissed, red, copper, strawberry, golden blonde, ash blonde, honey blonde, platinum, and silver.

Truth – Deux

It’s a simple, classic style that looks at home with jeans or a dress, casual or dressy, shopping at the mall or going on a date with that that cute guy next door! Long hair is loosely gathered into a ponytail on the right side, with a color-change sculpty bow. This sculpty hair is subtle, making the most of the sculpties’ abilities to give a beautiful result.
From the back, you see a few wisps of hair escaping from the loose pony. Again, absolutely beautiful. (I couldn’t help it, I wore this hair during my interview with CNN!)
The Deux style costs $1000L for a fat pack, $100L per color, and the demos are free. The colors include: auburn, black, blonde, blueberry, brunette, burgundy, candy, dark blonde, dark choco, fire, nutmeg, sable, silver, violet, honey, toffee, jelly, carrot.

Orchid Dreams – Dusk Geisha Hair
February 26, 2008 8:44 amYou may have figured this out by now, but I have a serious love for Japanese fashion. Not the Harajuku style that Gwen Stefani has made so famous, but the more traditional geisha style. Museum exhibits of kimono will make me squee like a fangirl. I’ll sit happily for hours researching traditional geisha makeup. I have an entire folder dedicated to kimono in my SLinventory.
Today’s style from Orchid Dreams made my inner fangirl SO happy! Dusk Geisha Hair is an elegant sleek sculptural look that conjures up hours spent at the hairdresser’s.
The back of this style is magical. Three graceful arcs of hair fall gently in the back, a beautiful soft contrast to the sharp points of the geisha makeup on the neck.
I couldn’t resist adding the red lacquered comb to the style.
The Dusk style costs $300L for a 4-color multipack, $99L per color and there is no visible demo. The colors include: chestnut, ebony, flame, and sandy.

(Male Monday) Philotic Energy – Indy
February 25, 2008 10:33 amI got to give my RL husband’s avatar a makeover last night. So much fun. I figure since I’m in the fashion industry, having a noob husband is rather passe. After tromping all over the grid I found hair for him at Philotic Energy.
It’s a simple hair, with long bangs in front. The bangs are choppy and uneven, with one particular piece hanging long in front of the left eye.
From the back, the hair is short with an uneven choppy hairline. Fun and funky, Indy works well for casual looks!
The Indy style costs $1200L for a fat pack, $150L per color, and the demos are free. The colors include: auburn, black, blonde, blonde tipped, blue tipped, brown, dirty blonde, green tipped, natural red, pink tipped, purple tipped, red, red tipped, sandalwood, silver, white.
